GT5 will not have damage simply because companies like Ferrari said they will not allow it. As said before Yamauchi is going all out or bust when it comes to damage, not that half assef Forza rubbish. (It's not even opinion, the damage is rubbish.)
I would rather the game released soon so I could finally play it, at most Sony will lose couple hundred thousand sales (:/) but 8+ million should be enough for Sony seeing how the other 1st/2nd party games are selling. |
I've been crashing and damaging Ferraris in Forza 2 since 2007...

And whether you like Forza damage or not. GT5 P online without it is Mario Kart at best. A very horrible banger race online as the guy at the back plows through to the front without breaking. Wheras Forza 2 online is a proper race where people try not to connect each other, otherwise they will come last becasue they cant steer for damage. :)

Oh I see you never played Forza 2 or GT... Any GT.
GT5p especially you do not touch anyone, you lose speed. Races are determined in millieseconds, getting ahead of someone is a nightmare.

Sorry. I know many that would agree. First time I played GT5 P online I was 2nd into the first corner, only to have everyone behind run straight into me. I ended up last while they all stayed on and gained much more ground on me.
Also I own and have finished all GT1 - 4. Single player is fine. Online is where damage is needed as consequence.
