Kojima likes to look forward, not backwards, but I think remakes of the 8-bit Metal Gears are definitely in order. I tried to replay the games on my MGS3: Subsistence disc, just now, and......well, just trust me on this.
If they remade Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, we'd have the opportunity to play as Snake while he was still green, on his way to becoming the greatest soldier who ever lived. Also, some of Metal Gear's most powerful moments (Snake vs. Grey Fox, to the death/ Big Boss' betrayal, etc.) could get the cinematic treatment that they deserve! What do you think?
