You already said you can't stand Renton at the beginning, which makes it a little unfair.  Eureka 7 has some very good character development, and the world that it takes place in is awesome.  I think you're not giving it anywhere near enough credit.

 

I mean the whole Coralian thing wasn´t interest.But the Renton and Eureka relationship was what got my hooked up.Also the anemone relationship was interesting too.Episode 48 is my favorite.I guess it is since BONES did the original FMA that also had a good character developement.

The whole Coralian thing was very interesting in my opinion.  I won't spoil anything here, but I loved it.
