Exactly. It seems like it is more of a marketing ploy than an useful application. Facebook I like. Especially phpDiplomacy, which can also be played at http://www.phpdiplomacy.net (SuperChunk there as well).
I like facebook's ability to share my photos and stuff with family/friends. Also a lot better and easier to use than Myspace.
