Whether you are a Silver Member or a Gold Member on Xbox Live it is a completely seperate fee. How many morons still think this, christ! You can play an MMO on Xbox 360 and just have Silver Membership, you will just pay the monthly fee for the game. If you have Gold Membership you are paying $49.99 a year for your subscription for online gaming and other goodies but this does not interfere with your monthly subscription with the game in any way nor does it need it. People who pay for Gold are doing so for kick ass online gamign and other goodies if they want to pay for an MMO and play with their buddies why should they care. It's all about what somebody is willing to pay and/or can afford. Plenty of people have Silver, why have Gold if you not going to take advantage of the features? Maybe your a Silver member and the Champions Online game intrigues you like say... Skeeuk and say he decides to get this and play it on his 360, why shouldn't he? Is it so wrong to be a Silver member you still get to download stuff from the XBL Marketplace amongst other things.

Therefore your statement was for trolling purposes. It showed a complete lack of knowledge about how Xbox Live works with MMO's. You were simply trying to put down the system with a BS excuse of a post. Whether you want to play an MMO on PC, 360 or PS3 you do not need to pay for anything but the monthly fee. Microsoft made the Xbox 360 all about choice whether it be with hardware, accesories, software etc. BTW If you don't want to be called that word don't try to act like one. That wasn't directed at you but at anyone who makes lame ass post like that.
