I doubt there will be a WiiHD next year.
Otherwise I do agree that there is no rush on anyone's part to start the 'next' generation.
Nintendo is making a killing, MS just started to profit and has a loooong way to go before it can recoop initial losses for the 360 (never will for Xbox) and truly become a worthwhile investment.
Sony? It still hasn't seen profits of any kind from PS3. Most likely they'll hope to over it's 10 year life and squeeze everything the can from PS3 later on in it's life. OR they'll release a PS4 at E3 which will be two PS3's ducted taped together with motion controlers in an attempt to reboot the brand and recapture 1st place (jk)
Forget what 3rd parties want, 1st parties have nothing to gain from jumping into 'next' gen.
