I agree with not needing so many cars, variations of the same car and especially old economy cars and the like that you're never going to play with other than to get through a crappy license or rank. In PGR4 for example, there are a whack of cars and bikes, but I usually end up only using 1 per class after becoming comfortable with it's handling and whatnot. It's nice to have the variety of course, but going overboard on cars isn't something I care too much about. I would say having more tracks would be a good thing though. Using PGR4 again, they do a lot of different tracks by just changing the layout of the city which helps keep things somewhat fresh. I would think the separate discs will likely have different modes across them, much like GT2 with Arcade on one and Simulation on the other.
