It's quite obvious you haven't played them if you at least don't classify the Rayman titles as party games. Every game I've listed there is quite popular for social events and follow similar mechanics (i.e. minigames in which people verse each other linked to some overall scoring system). Given the broad scope you've used to classify survival horror (e.g. RE and FEAR 2 are extremely different games and I'd have classified FEAR 2 as an FPS with horror elements IMO), I fail to see how you can use a narrow scoped definition for party games.
