You do know these two facts, right:

1. The PS3 uses BluRay for its current library.

2. The cost of BluRay is coming down to a much more reasonable price.

 

So, in light of these two bits of reality, explain HOW your idea is going to work.  HOW?  HOW HOW HOW?
