Halo has a wider appeal to the typical 360 owner, GT does not. The PS3 is not called the shooter box, the racer box, or whatever box because it has a wide variety of games. Because it has such a wide variety of games, the user base is much more split. The Xbox 360 was nicknamed the shooter box because it has a lot of shooters. While it also has a large variety of games, shooters do well on the 360. When it's the most popular shooter on the most popular genre of the console, it makes sense that it sells that huge of numbers. Gran Turismo is a big franchise, but it is not the game that most every typical PS3 owner will run out and buy like Halo is. Don't take this as a positive or negative on the GT or Halo franchise or quality of either game, that's just how it is. |
Why don't you anwser that ?
So a "demo" selling +3 million does not show you PS fanbse is rather hardcore about Gran Turismo, GT5P out selling Forza2 in Europe does not show you just how strong the connection between GT/PS still is ?
