This isn't a victory in any way for pro waterboarders I want to make that clear.

But basically Russia are a horrible country, they have extremely bad human rights ethics and their torturing needs to stop. As well as all torture, but let's fry the big fish first.

But I'm going to say something along the lines of what Akuma said, but in a different context.

Saying you are good on human rights because you are better than russia is like saying Hitler was a loveable friendly character because he killed less people than Stalin. It's just not true no matter which way you put it.

Waterboarding is still torture

WTF man? You should be banned just as that guy whom attacked Iraq in the exact same manner as you did now ;)

You have absolutly no freaking idea whats going on in Russia or any ex-soviet state and all that you are saying here comes from bullshit western media. Dont judge something afther the general publics opinion because that only makes you a tool...

Yes, it might not be paradise, true, but seeing that it pretty much became what it is today in less then 18 years... thats just impressive.

And again, for people who bealive that the russian media is framed and not free... please... did you ever went out and bought a newspaper in russia? Because I highly doubt it ;) And the crap that they write about their leader is something that just couldent be possible in a non-democratic country ;)

Torture... well yes... thats something that should be eradicated in every country, but lets e honest... its something that will never go away untill humanity exists, like it or not...

Though I agree that torture will always exist, I don't believe people object to it in order to eradicate it from our nature...we object to it in order to preserve our sanity and humanity, because once you become compliant to such behavior as torture, you start to lose that humanity ...
