Jews are the genetic brothers of Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese, and they all share a common genetic lineage that stretches back thousands of years. Jewish men shared a common set of genetic signatures with non-Jews from the Middle East, including Palestinians, Syrians, and Lebanese, and these signatures diverged significantly from non-Jewish men outside of this region. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2000/05/000509003653.htm |
Absolutely true and I agree 100% that Jews and Arabs are brothers. However, nowhere in that report is there any discussion about biblical people of Philistine. That group was greek and would be part of the "non-Jewish men outside of this region".
I'm not saying that that biblical group just disappeard, they did assimilate into the many various Jews/Arabs/Persians/Egyptians/Romans/Syrians/etc/etc around them. But, the Palestinians of today are not by any means mostly direct ancestors to that biblical group.
