Indeed, the same could be said of the other consoles too, nothing new.
Maybe it's somewhat exasperated on the Wii, because the forum-dwelling Wii gamer is even less homogeneous to the console average demographic.
But developers and publishers won't be affected by this at all, they'll look at hard sales data.
