Well its hard to fill those shoes, I think hes depressed he hasn't had any big releases for ages.

He's talented! The PS3 had to work hard, day and night, to got where it did, but the Wii hardly needs to put in any effort at all!

But you're right. A big release will give him the confidence he needs to accept who his elderly father is. He may even be more successful than him one day.

The thing is, I don't think the PS2 loves him... only his "real" child, the PS3.

The PS2 is mistaken about the PS3. He may have raised him and taught him his own values, but really the PS3 is the son of the Xbox 1 raised by him. The Xbox 1 and PS3 are so alike its uncanny, and its too bad the PS3 didn't have more of the PS2's character traits rub off on him. Thats the reason why its incest when the PS3 and Xbox 360 get into bed together.

Im sure the Wii will do fine, no matter what people say about him he just powers forward without a care.

Yes, but the PS2 wants to badly for the PS3 to be successful, and it just can't. He tries, oh god, he tries, but he needs help. He can't do it alone. The PS3 just wants to make his father happy (I don't think he knows who his real father is). And the PS2 wants so badly to be proud of the PS3, who isn't even his son, because he doesn't approve of the Wii's methodology.

Really, when PS3 looks at Xbox 360, it should be obvious that they are related. They are so similar, yet they both refuse to see it. They are always horrible to each other, and to be fair, Xbox never liked PS2 much, either.

Did GameCube ever have any children? I know his brother, Gameboy Advance, did (the DS), but GameCube died alone, and friendless. Sad, really

Its sad what happened with Gamecube.

I think the reason why the PS2 is so fond of the PS3 boy is that hes a child of his own heart. Sure the PS3 is a slow starter but I think he believes in the untapped potential of the PS3 to do who knows what now, but in the future that potential will be realised.

PS2 doesn't like how the Xbox 360 kids been spoiled by Xbox as well, too many people cleaning up after the messes that he makes or the diseases that he catches. Its like that kid gets away with anything whilst the poor PS3 kid barely catches a break.

If not for his grandpa Microsoft's money, the Xbox 360 would be getting nowhere. Although he is beginning to put some hard work in. He's even older than PS3, which a lot of people seem to forget.

I personally think PS3 will outsell his half-brother one day, if his own great grandpa (Sony) gives him anywhere near the support that the 360 gets.

Of course, Sony has quite a bit of faith in his great grandson; he believes he can work for as long as his adopted father.

I think Grandpa Microsoft is proud that Xbox 360 was able to break the cycle of teen pregnancy. If there wasn't hope for the next generation, he wouldn't have spent so much time and money ensuring that Xbox 360 had a good life. Xbox 1 was only very young when Xbox 360 was born, and thankfully this merciless cycle of young pregnancy and welfare dependency is coming to an end.

Great Grandpa Sony has a lot to be proud of as well. Even though hes having a hard time himself, he never forgets to be generous to others in need when he can. In a way his efforts though less extensive than Microsofts are far more worthwhile like the parable where the poor woman gave only a pittance and yet Jesus thanked her generous.
