true but EA made sure mysims had the weight of the brand by backing it - they cant just get it hyped on the internet and hope it takes off - they should have done a Wii Ware warm up teaser in the mould of FF - my life as a king style where if you complete it you unlock some extra formations or something in the main game.
They could have maybe even got it to generate a dynamic completion code as everyone that downloaded the wii ware teaser would have obviously been online where you register the code (this way they can ensure it only gets used once) and a money off coupon would have been posted off, thus making the wii ware title free.
This would have also allowed them to build a mailing list of the target audience so if they annouce sequels or any other similar moulded game they know where to start pushing it.
