A deft political move by Senator Specter. He will make an insignificant change to the labor bill thereby allowing him to provide the requisite vote to override a Republican filibuster and retain a modicum of credibility. He will then secure the support of the sizable Pennsylvanian labor unions and win re-election in 2010.
