I mean some horrible things have happened in Chechnya and that is more recent than slavery and Nazis, who have pretty much all but died off.
But a lot of the people from Chechnya I would imagine still fear the Russians as it was only recently this occured. In 50 years perhaps it will be largely forgiven and forgotten, like with the Nazis or the slave owners.
What the Russian military have done is still fresh in many peoples memories, I'm sure a lot of tortured Chechnyan's will agree with me.
The government works much better now and I doubt we will see anything quite as bad again though |

I say Chechnya people have been tortured, you can't deny that. It's fact. Have you ever read my posts??? The amount of times I've supported Russia and their politics for various thing. But I don't agree with what they have doen in Chechnya or Georgia becaus it is aggressive and wrong.
Also, are you under the impression that I am not European or something???

Yes... there is torture in Russia.... yes we had a bad history.... but saying that is a horible place ... and that another genoside is likelly to happen because of that history is down right offencive.... russia has been on the right track and not giving them credit is wrong.
And please dont bring up Georgia because that opens up a whoooole different conversation...
