There is at least one specific example in Star Wars and thats in the Expanded Universe books, as i said in the OP, Boba Fetts best mate is gay and has a "husband" and adopted children - Aliit ori'shya tal'din.

 

So if its good enough for Boba, it's good enough for me! Oya!

Interesting. Do they use words like gay and homosexual in those books?
