Basically this means you didn't play NWN, Jade Empire, or Mass Effect. All are great games and par for the course that is Bioware.
OT: Bioware has included same-sex stuff in both Jade Empire and Mass Effect. There is no reason they would not include it in Star Wars unless licensing prohibited it. It's very likely Bioware doesn't have the final say in this matter and is simply abiding the terms of their agreements.
