I have been building my own custom pc's for ages, so I hope you listen to my well meant advice. Here it goes.
As far as playing games on your pc goes. Yes, it can play browser based flash games and games that were new in the year 2000. Sudden strike is dirt cheap these days, awesome rts game. This pc is only meant for doing homework and little else and you won't be able to join the pc gamers race as some may suggest.
You could ofcourse upgrade your pc with a cheap new videocard as some have suggested. A amd 3870 is dirt cheap these days and will help you play most games at the peak of the rest of your system. Unfortunately nobody suggested that you also need a more power psu for that. Your pc would have worked for a few seconds if you only change your gpu and not your psu.
Nonetheless, you got this pc for free and a small upgrade should make this babe be able to run a lot of new games with more then reasonable performance. You should think about a budget of around 100-125 Euro. Ofcourse you could spend way more on it, but a better graphics card on a slower machine is a waste of money. A new amd 4890 for example will improve your graphics slightly vs a cheaper solution, but is not very cost effective.
