So I guess we aren't hiding spoilers anymore?
My little girl watched me while I played Lost Odyssey. She was a huge fan of Mack and Cooke. When Lirum died, she was dead silent, and holding on to my arm. I had to have a talk with her, after that, but the game wound up explaining death fairly well. It's the fact that Lirum was dead, then she came back for 5 minutes, and died again that didn't sit well with me. If it were somebody with whom I'd built some sort of connection with, I think it would have played better. I felt bad for Mack and Cooke (especially when they were crying and trying to wake Lirum up!), but that's about it......and by the end of the game, I REALLY wanted to give those kids a spanking!
