So from this biological difference we have created a social system where sex is good for men because it feels good, but bad for women because it gets them pregnant. It's stupid and wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's where it comes from. And it's related to the virginity double standard. Female virginity is somehow worshiped and male virginity is a joke to be wasted as young as possible in some weird macho competition. Men are expected to practice their sex while young before they settle down, and women are expected to stay pure until their wedding night. What's hilarious is that the only way for this stupid system to actually work is for all men to be gay until their wedding night. |
