People keep talking about the deaths it has caused, but are the people dying just the ones that don't go to the doctor for whatever reason?

I mean if you're jumping the border and bringing it to America, it's not hard to assume those people don't have health care. Would it be wrong to assume that the people that died in Mexico also didn't really get any medical attention for whatever reason and that's the reason there are so many deaths?

I mean the kid in Cleveland is doing fine because he want to the hospital so it seems like as long as you get help, it's not this horrible thing that people are making it out to be.

Well, scratch that, it's horrible because people are dying because they can't get medical help, but I don't think it's this worldwide scare that the press is trying to make it out to be, or at least the huge threat to Americans that the press is making it out to be.

-edit-

And I admit I'm pretty much ignorant on the situation since I only heard about it in passing on the news and from what I've seen in this thread.

Torillian seems to know what he's talking about though.
