Why do you think MS is going to continue winning against Sony because of their money? Sure they have a lots of money now, but what when they dont have the money to spend on DLCs and exclusives??? They will have to make the games for themselves like Sony and Nintendo are doing.

The money generated from Xbox Live alone probably covers the cost of DLC and exclusives. I would like to see more games from Microsoft and I imagine they have some in the works we don't even know about.

Sure Sony makes a lot of games but none of them are mega hits and they tend to sell less with each release. Their best selling games came out years ago or were bundled. Can Sony keep making big budget games if the sales dry up?

Not really.Xbox live is enough to cover RROD losses but Microsoft need to take money out of their wallets for DLCs and exclusives.

Sony is also making a lot of money on PSN. And their best selling franchise Gran Turismo ( every game sold above 7 million) is not even launched yet

But Microsoft makes money with a lot of crap they put out. Their console is probably being sold at a profit. They sell a shit load of accessories like hard-drives, wifi adapaters, etc. Live I'm sure sells more games and DLC than PSN considering the 8 million console gap.

GT5 is guaranteed to be a hit but so is ODST. So when it comes to money I'm sure Microsoft is fine. They've already seen a profit this generation. The same can't be said for Sony.

Actaully, PSN is about to surpass Xbox Live in account numbers since you can create 100 PSN accounts on 1 PS3, and you can create account on PSP as well. And Sony DID make profit this generation, they just didnt make profit in Q4 2008. PS3 software is profitable, PSP is profitable and PS2 is profitable abit. And i think MS will have money to buy DLCs and exclusives for at least 4 years, but after that...
