Take it from a guy who has no plans on buying an Xbox360 (at least until any sku but the arcade reaches the magic price of $199, then i'll think about it) but has played 360/PC games with my gaming rig or a borrowed console...
Assuming you don't have and won't have a PC, get: Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Star Ocean 4, Mass Effect, Dead Rising, Gears of War 1 & 2, Halo 3 (just for multiplayer fun, the game is not that great), Left4Dead, and if you don't want to wait for the PS3 game, get Tales of Vesperia, it's really an amazing JRPG...
