It was an absolute slaughter and if it was going to be accurate, which it wouldn't have been, it would have encouraged lots of complaints about shooting unarmed civilians or accidently shooting them when entering houses for insurgents. And if they had fictionalized the conflict, human rights groups would have complained about the out right lies and propaganda directly contradicting the reality of what happened. Its a hot issue and Konami were smart to stay away from it.
