This is also true.  But idk with the bundle that halo 3 is getting along with Halo: odst (which will probably increase Halo 3 sales as well) I just don't see GT outselling Halo 3, it will probably be pretty close though.

 

In a Eu vs NA alone battle, EU is 500 million people NA 330 Iam betting on current and past numbers, Best selling Halo is 5 million from reaching the best selling GT. 

Bundle or not its still NA vs the world.  Superball does +100 million, World Cup Final does +1 billion. 

Racing will always beat out run and gun.

The bolded is wrong.  FPS usually sell way more than racing games (GT is the exeption to this rule)

But tbh i really don't get your NA vs the world stuff or what it has to do with GT5 outselling halo 3.  

past GT's usually sold about the same in NA and EU (sans GT5: Prologue, and GT4)

But we shall see which one sells more.  I would expect GT to sell at least 3.5m first week for it to outsell Halo 3 LTD.

But i'm goina predict First week will be 2-3m max.  

But like i said i think GT will come close but unless its heavily bundled, i don't see it outselling Halo 3

 

The more i look into the sales the more i think what i believe what i said.  GT has been lowering in sales since it started in Japan with GT1 selling the most by quite a bit.  Whether it is gonna outsell Halo is gonna depend on NA, i really expect sales to continue to slide in Japan.  I'm sure it's gonna be big in Europe, even 4 sold almost as much as 3.  I can see it selling 5 million or more in Europe, and around a million in Japan, but whether it outsells Halo is gonna depend on whether NA can sell on par with europe or not.  The GT games that sold huge numbers actually sold more in NA than in Europe.
