I couldn't find a link to when they stopped production, but I remember them not making anymore xboxs after holiday 2004, and even if they did stop making them in 2005 it was the no later than march 2005 because they were preparing to have enough 360s at launch, either way that is still 3 and 4 months on the market tops which is still around 8 million per year when you average it out.
