I think devs rather prefer to release game on 3M userbase which buys games than on 8 milions that gets only Mario and Wii fit :)

This is more logical and sensical than just sheer numbers.

I really don't have doubts about SO4 coming to PS3, it's really a matter of time... X360 just don't carry Japanese games as well as PS3... when you have Valkyria Chronicles beating out Vesperia, it's pretty obvious that PS3's hardcore RPG fanbase from PS2 is still a sizeable amount.

The biggest money making game in X360 Japan is probably Idol M@ster lol...

I am almost certain, RPG on the HD Console is really just a one way street into the PS3 and not a two way street between PS3 and X360 as more JP Devs realize that PS3 carries the game better...

As for FFvs13, I am pretty confident to say it's going to be an exclusive, or at the very least a japan exclusive like Final Fantasy XIII. Unless it's a political decision made by SE to release FFXIII exclusive in Japan, it's a clear indication that Japanese company would rather release their RPG on the PS3 if they are not given big money from microsoft.
