I believe that Hell exists, but I know not the form it takes.
From what I've read from certain Saints, it may be nothing more than a place where your Soul is kept secluded from the splendors of God.
Basically, imagine eternity as two scenarios: one where you have never ending fun, (Heaven, Candy Mountain, etc.), and one where you're stuck in a straight jacket in a padded cell (Hell). It's not necessarily painful, but it'd be boring as fuck after only an hour, let alone for all of eternity.
