I'm not technically complaining because it certainly looks better than many other games list awards. But it still follows that trend. Many of the awards just kind of made up to get certain games in. Like Dragon Quest V and Animal Crossing: City Folk.

not like it's news, but Asian people like cute looking things, you know, like big heads and small bodies, they call it "Q type" or "Q style" and they love that shit over there so don't be surprised if they love Little King's Story over there too. btw anybody else notice the only western game on that list was GTA4? o_O

Oh, I fully understand why these games won those awards.  Famitsu gave all those games some of their highest scores in 2008.  However, I was just pointing out that now adays the difference between getting an 'award' and being 'the most popular' usually isn't that different.

In this case however, Famitsu is a type of influence on popularity over there.
