Nes: Technical issues, weak color palette, slow processor

Gameboy: Monochrome (but that was actually a strength, in a way)

SNES: Slower processor -launched over a year after the competition

Nintendo 64: Cartridge based -launched over a year after the competition

Gameboy Advance: No Backlighting (until the very end)

Gamecube: Mini-discs held MUCH less memory than DVDs. Purple -launched over a year after the competition

Nintendo DS: Graphically inferior to competition

Nintendo Wii: Far less powerful than competing consoles -launched over a year after the competition

Nintendo consoles ALWAYS have a major flaw. It's like Nintendo likes to handicap themselves, and then impress us anyway!

of course they have. ALL consoles have some flaw. PS1 - graphically inferior to competition. PS2 - difficult to develop for, graphically inferior. etc etc. If any console was perfect no one would buy the other ones
