Just because some people who consider themselves 'hardcore' gamers deny themselves the chance to play good games because they have brighter graphics doesn't make them bad. Case in point: Dragon Quest VIII, Okami, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Naruto: Gekito Ninja Taisen 4, etc.

Level-5 are gods when it comes to doing a really good cel-shading, i'm expecting wonders when their game with Studio Ghibli comes out...
I'm one of those that loves cel-shading, but not for anything, i like variety in my games, some games are good in CGI, some are good in cel-shading, some are even good with low-res sprites (like Disgaea 3), the thing is knowing where is good and where is not, and despite some people's way of thinking, cel-shading looks good on some western games...
