@squilliam, I wasn't aware of the v6 model problems. Their current and recent rankings from Consumer Reports were pretty good (I have the best & worst 2009 cars issue). The only model on the v6 Camry that didn't fair as the previous years was the 07 model which was a major redesign year. The only 3 categories that were marked as bad were trans. minor, brakes, and body integrity. They fixed those issues for 08 model except for body integrity which improved slightly. The audio system was ranked worse though.
