While I find this all cool. I took enough Astronomy to learn to take anything that's an educated guess with a grain of salt.
They are very good at predicting things they can prove (like orbital dynamics), but really suck at things that they can't prove out.
When this was driven home, was when learned that we landed a probe on Venus in 1972. Every major Astronomer had a different opinion of what venus was made up of, and looked like. Every one of them was wrong.
We can't even do a good job of predicting characteristics about the closest planet to us, and they want to tell us what stars are made out of, just based on light that has traveled billions of miles.
Yea, cool stuff, but I will put it in the "clever guess" section, and not "history" section of my brains library.
