No. I tried Grid and damage ends being more annoying than cool, specially when someone crashes you. It's not like I'd hate the game if it has damage, it'd be interesting to see how good can PD pull it off (knowing them, if they manage it'd be completely realistic) and in the end it'll probably be possible to turn it off, but in no way damage is important to me in GT5
