With the intense competition this gen, shouldn't you be professing how incredible they are doing and how smart the decisions that are being made are? They have ~20% of the market share with a 400$ console. It has never happened before.

Yes Sony, isn't doing as well as last gen, but let's face it, Sony set that bar itself. Sony is doing fine at the moment. They are smart brilliant people and will be on top once again in the future.

 

 Ummmm NO!  The ps3 is NOT making money.  Show me 1 financial report that says the ps3 made sony 1 yen/cent.

They made 4 million in their games division over the busiest shopping season of the year.  This means the psp and ps2 BARELY covered all the ps3 losses.  The quarter before that they lost 379 million $$$ in games division.

others know better than I, but I'm pretty sure all Sony needs to do is sell one game or two per console and they are in the clear.

Right now they have a 5 game per console attach rate, so they are making money.
