From personal experience, Id say it goes like this
Sony>Samsung>Mitsubishi>Everyone else
Sony's are extremely expensive, but your paying for the best
Samsungs are a great bargain if money is the issue but you still want a great HDTV
Kind of like how Mercedes>BMW>Audi>Lexus>Everyone else
...And here comes the bashing :P
