The Yen is currently at 97 to the dollar (has been for a while) when in recent history it was usually 120 or 125 to the dollar.
That means that if the Yen was at its expeced rate to the dollar and other currencies, the PS3 would cost under $340 to produce right now instead of $440 or whatever it is.
Anyway, it's not helping.
