Yep. It isn't a source as such, it reflects illumination.

 

 

That's definitely debatable.  Without the moon, it is impossible for that light to reach the dark side of the earth.  It is a source in the sense that light is rebounding (coming directly from the moon to the earth) off of it.  We use light like that all the way (i.e. his shining forehead lit up the room).  It's not possible to definitely prove that Moses had the correct idea of how light interacted with the Moon, but he's not clearly wrong like Bill Nye and some people in this thread want to make him seem.

Edit: And, going by your definition, grocery stores aren't sources of food because the food really comes from the farm.  The issue is how restrictive your defintion of source is.
