Great read Outlaw.

One thing, dont u controller the other characters or?

The AI controls them but you can pip in and direct them to attack a certain enemy or to heal you.

You never choose their actions. At least that's what it is in the demo.

I hope they at least retain gambits for that purpose or at least give us a choice between the 2. AI never works the way I want in JRPGs which is why I appreciate the ffxii method.

I swear on all thats holy that if theres gambits or anything that resembles gambits, I will not get this game or any other FF for that matter!

You'd rather have AI that does whatever the heck it wants to do? AI can be really stupid in tough battles and I'm the type that like s to beat the Ultima and Omega weapons of the game. My biggest complaints with AI controlled party members was the fight with freya in Star Ocean 3 . When freya used ether strike, there was only a small corner of the map you could stay to avoid the attack. I would always swicth to the AI controlled characters when I saw the attack coming and run them to the corners of the battle area and they'd run right back to the middle and get killed as soon as I switched back to fayt. This was very annoying.

This is why I said we shoul at least have a choice. Those of you in love with A.I can have it while those of us who'd rather have gambis can be happy as well. Of course, I'd prefer if it was completely turn-based but it looks like that style is going extinct.
