Umm, we're all brainwashed. Being raised and being brainwashed are the same thing, only difference is with brainwashing you have to undo previously held beliefs, and with raising someone you can start from scratch.

What she said was wrong, and it's most certainly wrong in a pagent where you're supposed to say something nice, instead of what's true to yourself. If I was her I would have lied, it's a beauty pagent, and her opinion was ugly.

I don't hate people who are against gay marriage, I just think they are illogical, because their position has no logic other than appealing to tradition, a sense of sacredness, or religious/social authority, and those are fallacies.
