Given that there is currently a thread questioning whether 360 owners want BluRay, I figure we can ask you PS3 owners a similar question. Would you prefer your PS3 to have a regular DVD drive instead of the BR drive?
Think of the benefits:
- MGS5 will not be 100 hours of cutscenes with 12 hours of gameplay. Kojima simply cannot fit it on a DVD-9 disc.
- Next time you go to purchase a movie, you'll be able to pay for it with a twenty-dollar bill! (And, you'll be able to purchase any movie you want, not just ones available on BR.)
- Reduced load times - we all know this is not BluRay's strong point.
- Price cut!
- Exercise - You'll have to actually get up and swap discs for multi-DVD games! It's the healthy alternative.
