Limiting this to two is hard...'cause by picking two I'm leaving off games I thoroughly enjoyed.
IF I only had two to play though I'd want Gears 2 and Fallout 3, for long-term re-playability.
@kowenicki: getting over Kaim's decided femininity was the hardest part for me...once you get past that, not only is the game a lot of fun, but the characters grow on you too...I won't spoil anything for you...damn I really, really liked this game.
The single announcement of LO2 at E3 would = pure win for me.
