I saw the story on CNN about a week ago. Since then, this lady has been everywhere! It's like a cinderella story, but I think that she's just being set up for failure. They're building her up to be the next big thing (and maybe she will be) but I think she's just the story of the moment. She seems like a nice enough lady, but I keep expecting the cheerleaders to come in, dump garbage on her, and tell her she was a fool for ever dreaming of making it big.
She seems like the kind of person I'd see on the streets and think, "now she's friendly." She doesn't seem like the kind of person that needs to be the target of show business. Late night talk show hosts, the paparazzi, and the internet community are vicious. We've been spoon fed hot, hot girls with limited talent for so long, that I'm a little afraid of what may happen to such a "normal" person.......plus, seeing her on TV always freaks me out!!
