PC games look much better than console games in terms of graphics due to the regular upgrades of PCs. PC gaming is elitist and you need to spend a lot of money to have the system that can run the latest PC games.

Most PC systems become obsolete within 4 years whereas consoles can last up to 10 years and still deliver good games.

Steam and to a much lesser extent Windows Live have helped in the piracy department, but for the most part you are correct.

 

Yep, even Stardock that are championning no DRM and made their gamer bill of right are having huge issue with their latest game release.

 

Their multiplayer servers are getting swamped by 120k players and it looks like only 18k of those are legit only...
