I think it's now time we get to a bigger storage medium next generation. CDs weren't needed when Floppies were ok, DVDs weren't needed when CDs were ok, now BD is not needed when DVDs are ok - get my drift. At PS3/360 launch, the implementation of a BD drive was really high in cost. Currently, people over-estimate the implementation cost of Blu-ray drive instead of a DVD drive. $50 at the most now from what I've gathered talking to people that actually know this kind of stuff. Also, computer drives are less than $100 for 6x Blu-ray reader. |
Tales of Vesperia was only 5.9GB. They left 900MB unused.
Whatever didn't make it on, clearly had nothing to do with space limitations.
