I don't hate people. I don't hate anybody for any reason. I am a Christian, which means I rise above circumstance, above the problems of life itself. So to damkira who thinks he's so wise; I don't hate white people, and you clearly misunderstood my post.

RubangB - The facts only show how terrible things are. Anyone with a differing opinion then will be destroyed by other people. Like Miss California. I'm not here to argue homosexuality and how it hopes to degrade marriage. I'm just simply stating that because people take marriage for granted, and they don't understand it's meaning, those of us that do will suffer and be hated for it.

In the end every Christian knows that this world will end violently, because it will all fall under sin. Every Christian knows that every battle it will fight for what's good and pure and sacred will be lost, because Jesus Christ has already told us.

The reason why we do care, is because Christ teaches us to always stand up for righteousness. Like the many Christians before us, we'd die before we accept or tolerate sin. And if Christ is wholly true, this Nation (along with many others) would have us persecuted because of what we believe, because "the world hates truth that declares the world to be wicked".

But every Christian must carry their cross right? I know all you guys will hate me for what I believe, and what Miss California believes and everything. But what I care about is that you know WHY we believe what we believe.

Marriage is sacred. To us there is no straight marriage or gay marriage or anything like that. That doesn't even make any sense, because Marriage has little to do with sex. Marriage is about creating a family, a unity between a man and a woman that would be a foundation for a new family. It goes beyond love and simple family bonds. It comes from Adam and Eve, who together became the head of humanity itself.

Go ahead and love and fuck whoever you want. Whether we think it's wrong or right only frames your choices for you. But to change Marriage is completely different. It's more than just doing what you want, it's changing something that's supposed to have meaning, into something less. Like the mutilated meaning of Christmas, or the unclear meaning of Easter, or the mystified meaning of Communion and all that other stuff.

I care because this is just as much My America as it is yours. I'd rather have it righteous than tolerant.
