If you are interested in the iphone or ipod touch for gaming you should probably go with the ipod touch since the iphone will suck batteries like no other since you would be using it for a phone also. My cousin has an iphone and it ran out of batteries constantly because he would talk on it decent amount, send texts, surf web, play music/videos sometimes, and game occasionally. It seemed like he needed to charge it at least every 5-6 hours. So it may be best to have a regular cellphone for calls/etc and ipod touch for gaming, music, etc..
