Well we got the PlayStation Eye with EyeCreate and the Eye of Judgment back in 2007, but not much else has been announced. A game called Eyedentify was trailered by Sony way back in 2005, but nothing seems to have come of it. I guess we'll just have to settle with EyePet for now.
Keep in mind that games like SingStar and Buzz! Quiz TV also use the PlayStation Eye and are family friendly games.
